Product Description: Get straight out onto the water under the guidance of an expert boatman and experienced Rutland fly fisherman. You'll experience fly fishing for trout on Europe's premier trout fishing lake, the stunningly beautiful Rutland Water. Meet your guide at the water's edge and be taken onto Rutland Water which has around 26 miles of shoreline, covering 3,500 acres and start to fly fish from your motor boat. The quality of fishing is world class yet challenging, however your guide will try his utmost for you to catch a fish. Should you prove to be a natural, you are permitted to take up to two fine trout home. Rutland Fly Fishing Adventures will provide permits (vital in order for you to be allowed to fish) on the day.

More Details: Around two dates (a weekday and a Saturday) per month from April to November, when the fishing is at its best.Weather: Fishing will go ahead in most weather although boats cannot go out in high winds (over 23mph) and in that instance Rutland Fly Fishing Adventures will arrange a rebooking.Duration: Lasts for up to four hours.Numbers On Day: Share your experience with one other participant as each boat for the afternoon will contain two budding fly fisherman and an expert boatman. Birdwatching, rock climbing and plenty of other activities take place in and around Rutland Water.
