Product Description: Experience the unique thrill of a high speed tour of the Solent in a genuine offshore powerboat. Hold on tight as your experienced instructor takes the boat to the limit, completing our offshore circuit. Your experience will begin with a safety briefing then put on the offshore racing jacket and life jacket you'll be given before joining the waiting Honda powerboat. After a short cruise down Southampton water, the driver will open up the throttle and you will fly across the waves into the Solent. This unique experience includes a demonstration of wave jumping, high speed cornering, racing lines and starts. Get two laps behind the wheel yourself out on the circuit to put what you've learnt from the instructor to the test (at the instructor's discretion) and see how good you are. The boat operates within Southampton Water and, weather permitting, out onto the Solent.

More Details: Selected weekend dates from May to September. Book at least four weeks in advance.Weather: Powerboating is a weather-dependent activity. It's essential that you call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm on the day before your experience to check weather conditions.Duration: An hour and a half including a safety briefing, one hour on the water, five minutes driving time and a debrief. Please arrive up to 30 minutes in advance of your booked time, the boat can't wait for latecomers.Numbers On Day: There will be up to four people on board.Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. Tell them to bring a camera and a pair of binoculars.Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles will be useful if it is windy.Guidelines: Minimum age is 12 but under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.
